Wagner Electric Company was recognized as
Service Contractor of the Year for its excellent
service to electrical contracting customers.

In 1961, J.F. Wagner began a small, electrical contracting
company out of his home. Wagner specializes in
providing labor for companies looking for high-quality
work and superior customer service.

Wagner’s sons, Christopher and Michael, worked in the
business growing up and upon graduating from the
University of Louisville in 1971, joined their father full-time.
Together, the three of them expanded and built a strong
foundation for Wagner Electric.
In 2002, the third generation of the Wagner family joined the
company. Tony joined his father, Michael, to help manage the
Electrical Division and expand the Lighting Division. Today,
Wagner Electric continues its focused effort of providing
full-service electrical construction, service, and maintenance.

Wagner Electric is the culmination of J.F.’s vision
and the strong foundation he and his family have
built over the decades. It is a tradition of excellence
carried on by his sons, grandson, and the hundreds of
employees that have dedicated their efforts to serving
Wagner Electric customers for half a century.
