CHAPTER OF THE YEAR (16 TO 30 CONTRACTOR MEMBERS)

     IEC NATIONAL 2019 AWARDS  |  INDIVIDUAL AND CHAPTER AWARD WINNERS
                 CENTRAL INDIANA IEC


                 Central Indiana IEC received the 2019 IEC Chapter
                 of the Year Award.

                 At Central Indiana IEC, the chapter has gone above and
                 beyond to improve the contractor member experience by
                 emphasizing member appreciation and retention.
                 The chapter has been scheduling appointments with
                 member contractors to share their experiences with IEC.
                 One of the topics that has been reflected throughout these
                 meetings is the shortage of manpower.
                 Always looking for innovation and expanded resources for
                 their members, Central Indiana recently launched a fire
                 alarm course and new worker program. Central Indiana is
                 in the. Planning phase  of providing a Master’s Prep Course.













                        CHAPTER OF THE YEAR (31 TO 60 CONTRACTOR MEMBERS)

                 IEC SAN ANTONIO


                 IEC San Antonio received the 2019 IEC Chapter of
                 the Year Award.

                 Over the last twelve months, IEC San Antonio saw a 15%
                 membership growth with 8 contractors and 6 associates
                 during this past fiscal year. Their members are actively
                 involved in IEC on the national level. Members serve on
                 many committees including the Executive Committee,
                 the A&T Committee, the Membership Committee and
                 more. IEC San Antonio very own training Director,
                 Raul Vasquez, runs the National Apprenticeship
                 Competition, Skills USA Competitions and supports
                 Ideal Industries with their national competition.

                 In 2018 the chapter launched a new strategic plan to
                 promote greater cohesiveness and a sense of belonging
                 for chapter members. In just the first year, the chapter
                 has built a new 11,000 sq. ft building to accommodate
                 member & apprenticeship growth.  The chapter
                 continues to hit major milestones within their plan
                 from improving brand presence to increase member
                 recruitment efforts through a targeted approach.
