IEC NEW JERSEY
New Jersey IEC received the 2019 IEC Chapter of
the Year Award.
This year, IEC New Jersey continued to build on its
achievements with over 25% growth in overall membership
and a 17% increase in the number of contractor members.
They are the very first privately run electrical career
school in New Jersey, which is approved by state and
federal departments of education. With the hard work
and dedication of both members and staff, the IEC
New Jersey excelled in every aspect of operations.
NJ-IEC had several notable legislative victories over the
past year. This past year, NJ-IEC has been instrumental in members with an opportunity to learn about the other

IEC Rocky Mountain received the 2019 IEC Chapter
of the Year Award.
IEC Rocky Mountain (IECRM) grew its contractor membership
by over five percent year over year. Surmounting
workforce shortages due to low unemployment and a
robust construction market, IECRM was able to exceed its
strategic objectives by serving its members, apprentices,
and community in alignment with its core values.
To support their member’s needs, IECRM created a new
Diversity & Inclusion Committee to increase outreach
to women, minorities, and under served populations,
including veterans. The committee has expanded to continuing education and informational classes in 2018-19.
